Step 1: Gather Your Email Settings

  1. Email Address: Your full email address.

  2. Password: Your email account password.

  3. SMTP Server Address: This is the server used for sending emails. Usually, something like smtp.yourprovider.com.

  4. IMAP Server Address: This is the server used for receiving emails. Typically something like imap.yourprovider.com.

  5. Ports: SMTP usually uses port 587 or 465; IMAP typically uses port 993.

You can usually find these settings on your email provider's website or by contacting their support.


Step 2: Configure Incoming Mail Settings (IMAP) in Luna.ai

  1. Choose IMAP: Select IMAP as the account type if prompted.

  2. Enter IMAP Server: Type in the IMAP server address you gathered earlier.

  3. Port and Security: Enter the IMAP port (usually 993) and select SSL/TLS or “Use secure connection (SSL)” if available.

Step 3: Configure Outgoing Mail Settings (SMTP) in Luna.ai

  1. Enter SMTP Server: Input the SMTP server address.

  2. Port and Security: Use port 587 or 465 and select SSL/TLS or “Use secure connection (SSL)” if available.

Additional Tips

  • Check with Your Provider: If you're unsure about any settings, check with your email provider.

  • Update Passwords: If you change your email password, remember to update it in Luna.ai.

  • Internet Connection: Ensure you have a stable internet connection during setup.
